“Bonjour Chanson”, brings the best of French Language Popular Music to English Speakers.
In each episode, six artists are introduced with one of their songs. The English commentary includes a translation of an excerpt of the lyrics for each song. We introduce well-known and rising artists without forgetting the great talents from yesterday. Frequently, top billing is given to rising artists. Songs are not repeated across episodes. The host, Charles Spira, grew up in Belgium. He has lived many years in English speaking countries: Canada, the United Kingdom and in the U.S.
