Rugby World Cup Coverage

We are extending the BBC hours to offer live commentary of several rubgy world cup games taking place all around France this month.

Tune in to WRP at the time of the games for all the excitement, and join us in the many bars of the city offering live TV coverage.

Games are shown on either TF1, France 2 and M6. The opening game between France and New Zealand attracted over 15 million viewers in France alone, proving the growing popularity of Rugby in France.

Remember that the games located in Paris are at Stade de France, accessible by RER B, but also RER D, Metro 12 and 13 (10 min walk each). RER B is usually not the best choice before a game, it gets super crowded but it is now air conditioned.

The fan zone is located at Concorde Square on metro line 1, 8 and 12. It can accommodate 10,000 people with giant screens. It’s a good free alternative to the stadiums.

Have a wonderful world cup, and stay tuned to WRP.
